BHD., a respected organization within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry, is actively seeking a talented Senior SEO Executive (Baidu) to join their dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. The Role
In this critical position, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing all organic search initiatives on Baidu. You will leverage your deep understanding of Baidu's ranking algorithms, Chinese user behavior, and digital landscape to drive high-quality traffic, enhance brand visibility, and generate qualified leads. Your expertise will be instrumental in bridging the gap between the brand and its target audience in China.
Key Responsibilities
You will conduct comprehensive Baidu keyword research, optimize website architecture for Baidu's specific ranking factors, manage Baidu Webmaster Tools, and develop high-quality Chinese content strategies. Staying ahead of Baidu's algorithm updates and the evolving Chinese internet regulatory environment will be key to your success. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business goals into highly effective SEO campaigns.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design and execute comprehensive, data-driven Baidu SEO roadmaps to meet traffic and revenue targets.
- Perform advanced keyword research and competitive analysis specifically for the Chinese search landscape.
- Optimize website architecture, content, and technical elements for peak performance on Baidu.
- Manage day-to-day operations of Baidu Webmaster Tools (百度站长平台) including site verification, sitemap submission, and crawl error resolution.
- Develop and implement a strategic link building campaign focused on high-authority Chinese websites.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPI) using Baidu Tongji (百度统计) and other analytics tools.
- Partner with content and marketing teams to craft compelling, Baidu-optimized Chinese copy and media assets.
- Stay vigilant on Baidu algorithm updates, Chinese internet regulations, and emerging SEO trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least 2-3 years focused exclusively on Baidu and the Chinese market.
- Full professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese (both written and verbal) is mandatory for this role.
- Proven, demonstrable success in improving organic keyword rankings and traffic from Baidu.
- Deep proficiency with Baidu-specific tools (Webmaster Tools, Tongji, Keyword Planner) and standard SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals (crawling, indexing, structured data, site speed).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese digital culture, social media ecosystem (WeChat, Weibo, Douyin), and search behavior patterns.
