Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee all technical aspects of civil and architectural works, ensuring strict compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Review and interpret complex structural and architectural drawings, resolving technical discrepancies and optimizing design for construction.
- Coordinate closely with design consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP, structural, and architectural systems.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports, method statements, and progress updates to project management and clients.
- Manage and enforce rigorous Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for all on-site construction activities.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and site supervisors, promoting best engineering practices.
- Liaise with suppliers, authorities, and testing laboratories regarding material approvals, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
- Contribute to project planning, cost optimization, and schedule adherence to maintain project momentum and profitability.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive experience in civil and architectural engineering roles within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of working on high-quality, large-scale projects (high-rise, infrastructure, or industrial/commercial complexes).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is mandatory for effective communication across Asian markets and headquarters.
- Strong working knowledge of local Malaysian building regulations, standards (MS, Eurocodes), and authority submission processes.
- Proficiency in essential engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, STAAD Pro, or equivalent structural analysis tools).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Professional Engineer (PE) status with BEM/IEM or other relevant professional certifications is highly advantageous.
