We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Lab Technician to join a leading Chemical MNC located in the industrial hub of Jurong Island. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of laboratory tests and analysis to support our manufacturing and quality assurance processes. You will operate sophisticated laboratory instruments to determine chemical properties, ensuring that all results meet stringent regulatory standards and internal specifications.
As a Shift Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining product consistency and safety. You will be required to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) throughout your daily operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong aptitude for precision, a commitment to safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, shift-based environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, maintain accurate records, and drive continuous improvement within the laboratory.
Tanggung Jawab
- Perform chemical analysis and testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, titrators, and balance equipment.
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with GMP, ISO, and local regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate, legible, and timely documentation of test results and laboratory observations.
- Conduct routine calibration checks on equipment and assist in method validation exercises.
- Monitor inventory levels of chemicals and supplies, and report stock shortages promptly.
- Adhere to strict health and safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and waste disposal.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Applied Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a chemical laboratory or process industry environment.
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP guidelines and laboratory safety standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
