We are seeking a dedicated Specialist, Client Processing (Trade Settlements) to join our dynamic APAC Trade Services team in Singapore. As a leader in investment services, BNY Mellon plays a crucial role in the global financial ecosystem, and this role offers you the chance to work at the heart of trade settlement operations.
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of client trades across various asset classes. You will act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external clients, ensuring seamless settlement execution while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards and operational excellence.
Tanggung Jawab
- Execute and monitor daily trade settlement instructions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Perform regular reconciliation of settlement accounts and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Communicate with internal trading desks, custodians, and external counterparties to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Prepare and review settlement reports, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within the settlement workflow.
- Assist in the onboarding of new clients and the management of existing accounts.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in trade settlement, operations, or a related financial services role.
- Strong working knowledge of SWIFT messaging, trade finance instruments, and settlement cycles.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to handle complex data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
