PT Mitrajaya Bahari is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Exim (Import) to join our logistics team in Medan. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of imported goods, managing complex customs documentation, and maintaining strict compliance with Indonesian import regulations. You will act as the primary liaison between our company, freight forwarders, and customs authorities, playing a critical role in minimizing clearance delays and optimizing our operational efficiency. We are looking for a professional who is not only technically proficient in Exim procedures but also highly organized and capable of handling administrative documentation with precision.
Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and monitor the entire import process from supplier dispatch to final warehouse delivery.
- Prepare, manage, and verify all essential import documentation, including Bill of Lading, Packing Lists, Invoices, and PEB/PIB.
- Communicate effectively with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely arrival of goods.
- Ensure full compliance with local customs regulations and stay updated on changes in import/export policies.
- Perform data entry and administrative reporting related to import activities accurately.
- Handle customs clearance processes and liaise with relevant government authorities when necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues or discrepancies in shipment documentation.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Exim Staff or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or trading company.
- Strong knowledge of PIB (Pemberitahuan Impor Barang) and customs systems (e.g., CEISA).
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel for documentation and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Indonesian and basic English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Highly organized, meticulous with numbers and details, and possesses high integrity.
