Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a dynamic and innovative Staff Scientist to lead our qPCR assay development efforts. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design, optimization, and validation of quantitative PCR (qPCR) assays for diverse applications.
- Develop and implement scalable molecular biology workflows to support high-throughput testing and research.
- Troubleshoot complex assay issues and provide technical solutions to improve assay robustness and reproducibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product development, clinical affairs) to integrate new technologies into existing platforms.
- Generate, analyze, and interpret experimental data, preparing detailed reports and documentation for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Present technical findings and updates to internal stakeholders, project managers, and external partners.
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline with 5+ years of industry experience in assay development.
- Strong hands-on experience with qPCR technologies, including primer design, assay optimization, and data analysis.
- Proven track record in developing and validating molecular biology assays in a regulated or GMP environment.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software and molecular biology laboratory techniques (e.g., PCR, DNA/RNA extraction).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
