Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the day-to-day technical operations, safety, and seaworthiness of the assigned cargo vessel fleet.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise dry-docking, major repairs, retrofitting, and emergency technical interventions.
- Ensure full compliance with international and local maritime regulations (IMO, ISM Code, ISPS, MLC, and classification society requirements).
- Prepare, manage, and monitor annual technical operational budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-efficiency.
- Conduct regular onboard technical inspections and audits, preparing detailed condition and performance reports.
- Liaise with classification societies, flag states, port authorities, and external technical service providers.
- Manage the procurement of technical stores, spare parts, and specialized engineering services.
- Provide technical guidance and support to shipboard crew and onshore engineering teams.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Class I Marine Engineer (ATT-I) Certificate of Competency.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent, Vessel Manager, or Chief Engineer on ocean-going cargo vessels.
- In-depth structural and mechanical knowledge of bulk carriers, cargo vessels, and marine propulsion systems.
- Strong expertise in dry-docking management, shipyard operations, and maritime budget control.
- Thorough understanding of international maritime regulations, vetting standards, and class certification processes.
- Excellent leadership, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) for international technical coordination.
- Based in or willing to work in Jakarta Selatan.
