Hop Lun is a world-class leader in the intimate apparel industry, and we are looking for a dedicated Technical Sewing Specialist to join our manufacturing team in Semarang. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in elevating our production standards by enhancing operator skills and implementing high-efficiency manufacturing methodologies.
You will serve as a key technical resource on the production floor, bridging the gap between design specifications and mass production. Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze and optimize sewing production lines to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct hands-on technical training for machine operators to enhance their precision and skill levels.
- Implement and monitor standardized sewing methods to ensure compliance with global customer quality standards.
- Collaborate with the industrial engineering team to resolve bottlenecks in the assembly process.
- Maintain high quality control standards by conducting regular inspections and root-cause analysis of sewing defects.
- Introduce innovative sewing techniques and jigs to improve overall production speed.
- Prepare technical reports on production performance and operator development progress.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a technical sewing or production supervisory role within the apparel/garment manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial sewing machine mechanics and various garment construction techniques.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (AQL standards) and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and motivate production floor teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to interpret technical patterns, tech packs, and production manuals.
- Proficiency in local language; English communication skills are an advantage.
