We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Translator to join our team in Batam. In this role, you will act as a vital communication bridge between our local operations and international stakeholders, ensuring precision in both written and verbal communication.
As a Translator, you will be responsible for converting technical documents, corporate communications, and daily operational reports with high accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess deep cultural understanding and linguistic expertise to facilitate seamless collaboration within our multicultural work environment. Tanggung Jawab
- Translate technical, operational, and administrative documents between Indonesian and Mandarin/Chinese.
- Facilitate verbal communication during meetings, site inspections, and cross-departmental briefings.
- Ensure the accurate localization of instructional manuals, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive company information and trade secrets.
- Collaborate with department heads to draft formal correspondences and professional reports.
- Monitor and update terminology databases to ensure consistency across all organizational communications.
- Assist expatriate staff and local management in bridging communication gaps to ensure project alignment.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin Literature, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience as a Translator, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) and Indonesian is mandatory.
- Strong command of professional terminology related to manufacturing, logistics, and industrial processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and translation management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic industrial setting.
- Strong attention to detail and high integrity.
