As our Carpenter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the architectural integrity and aesthetic charm of our eco-conscious resort. You will be responsible for ensuring that all wooden structures, furniture, and installations are not only visually stunning but also perfectly safe for our guests to enjoy. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform daily inspections of all wooden structures and furniture throughout the resort to ensure structural integrity.
- Execute high-quality repairs on wooden decks, doors, window frames, and bespoke resort furniture.
- Apply protective coatings and maintenance treatments to preserve wood quality against tropical weather conditions.
- Collaborate with the POMEC team to assist in minor renovation or construction projects as needed.
- Identify potential safety hazards related to aging or damaged wood and perform proactive repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized workshop and manage inventory of woodworking tools and materials.
- Ensure all work complies with the resort’s sustainability and aesthetic standards.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or Woodworker, preferably in the hospitality or luxury villa sector.
- Strong understanding of various wood types, joining techniques, and wood finishing methods.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or design plans accurately.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in an outdoor, tropical environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetic restoration.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative maintenance team.
- Flexibility to work on a contract basis and follow strict safety protocols.
