In this pivotal role, you will serve as the heartbeat of our newsroom, responsible for taking raw footage from correspondents around the globe and transforming it into professional, engaging video content. You will be integral to the process of editing off live video and moving coverage, ensuring that our clients receive timely and high-quality updates at the speed of news.
As a Video Desk Producer, you will coordinate closely with our international production teams to manage the post-production workflow. You will ensure that all visual assets meet our rigorous standards for accuracy, style, and pacing. Tanggung Jawab
- Edit and assemble raw footage from live and off-air sources into compelling news packages.
- Coordinate the workflow between correspondents, editors, and graphic designers.
- Ensure all video content meets Thomson Reuters standards for accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
- Deliver content to clients at speed, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Archive and organize footage for future reference and compliance.
- Monitor live feeds and manage real-time updates during breaking news events.
- Collaborate with the desk team to prioritize stories based on client impact.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a video production or newsroom environment.
- Proficiency in non-linear editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of broadcast news standards and editorial guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a high-pressure setting.
- Attention to detail with a focus on visual storytelling and pacing.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Relevant degree in Media, Communications, or Journalism is preferred.
