Scanmar Maritime Services is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious 2nd Engineer to join our expanding offshore fleet. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a critical role in the maintenance, operation, and efficiency of our worldwide trade route offshore vessels.

Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and participate in the operation, maintenance, and repair of all engine room machinery and auxiliary systems.
- Ensure full compliance with international maritime safety and environmental regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL).
- Monitor and troubleshoot complex Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems to ensure vessel stability and operational uptime.
- Coordinate with the Chief Engineer for the preparation of technical reports and maintenance schedules.
- Oversee engine department staff, ensuring proper task delegation and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage engine room inventory, bunkering operations, and fuel consumption logs.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement technical corrective actions as required.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) as 2nd Engineer (Unlimited).
- Mandatory: Valid DPVM (Dynamic Positioning Vessel Maintenance) Certification.
- Extensive experience working on Offshore Vessels (AHTS, PSV, or similar).
- Valid POEA documentation and updated STCW certifications.
- Proven track record in managing engine room operations for worldwide trade routes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
