Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Engineer on watch in the routine maintenance and operation of shipboard machinery.
- Perform daily rounds of the engine room to check for leaks, temperature variations, and mechanical abnormalities.
- Lubricate and maintain all moving parts of the engines, pumps, and auxiliary equipment as per the Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
- Transfer fuel, oil, and water as directed, adhering to strict safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the engine room and pump room areas.
- Assist in the overhauling of machinery components during dry-dock or routine maintenance periods.
- Ensure compliance with international safety, health, and environmental standards (MARPOL/SOLAS).
Kualifikasi
- Valid Seaman’s Book and Passport.
- Completion of all required STCW 2010 basic and advanced offshore safety training certificates.
- Proven experience as an Oiler or Wiper on offshore vessels or similar maritime platforms.
- Technical knowledge of marine engine room operations and lubrication systems.
- Excellent physical condition, capable of working in challenging offshore environments.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and incident prevention.
- Ability to work effectively within a multicultural team.
