Morning Light Enterprises, an established Hong Kong-based manufacturer, is expanding its overseas operations and seeking a high-caliber Accounting Supervisor / 會計主管 to lead our finance team in Semarang, Indonesia. As our Accounting Supervisor, you will take charge of local financial reporting, internal controls, and manufacturing cost management, with a key focus on ensuring robust compliance with Indonesian tax laws. You will act as the key communication bridge between our Semarang facility and our regional corporate headquarters in Hong Kong. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the local accounting department, including general ledger, AP/AR, and inventory control.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes in compliance with local GAAP and corporate standards.
- Manage Indonesian tax compliance, including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate income tax filings.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and management reports for the regional headquarters in Hong Kong.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and local government authorities when necessary.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide local junior accounting staff to foster a high-performing team.
- Monitor cash flow, manage operational budgets, and conduct variance analysis on manufacturing costs.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in a supervisor role within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong working knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and local reporting requirements (Brevet A & B certification is highly preferred).
- Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal). Proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese is highly advantageous to facilitate communication with our Hong Kong headquarters.
- Solid experience with modern ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local manufacturing ERPs) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Semarang, Central Java.
