Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and maintain optimal water quality parameters (pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, ammonia) through regular testing.
- Implement precise feeding schedules and manage feed distribution to ensure healthy growth rates.
- Conduct routine biological assessments and health monitoring of aquatic species to detect early signs of disease.
- Operate and perform preventative maintenance on aquaculture equipment, filtration systems, and aeration devices.
- Accurately record and document daily production metrics, mortality rates, and environmental data for analytical reporting.
- Collaborate with veterinary and technical teams to implement disease prevention strategies and bio-security protocols.
- Assist in the handling, harvesting, and transfer of stock while minimizing stress and maintaining animal welfare standards.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Marine Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in aquaculture production or hatchery management.
- Strong understanding of aquatic animal physiology, nutrition, and water chemistry.
- Proficiency in using analytical tools and laboratory equipment for water quality monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical equipment failures on-site.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain meticulous production records.
- Commitment to biosecurity practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends or holidays as required by the life-cycle of the stock.
