Amartha, a leading fintech peer-to-peer lending company in Indonesia, is seeking a high-performing Area Manager to join our team in Karo, Sumatera Utara. In this role, you will be the backbone of our operations, overseeing field teams to ensure sustainable growth, operational excellence, and positive social impact.

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for scaling our microfinance operations, managing branch performance, and nurturing relationships with our partners in the region. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to empowering the grassroots economy through technology and innovative financial services.

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of service, managing risk, and driving portfolio health while fostering a culture of teamwork and performance among your staff.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of multiple branches within the Karo area.
  • Ensure the achievement of performance targets (KPIs) related to lending, portfolio quality, and borrower acquisition.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to develop strategies for regional growth and operational efficiency.
  • Provide coaching, training, and leadership to branch staff to ensure adherence to company SOPs and code of conduct.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor team performance and ensure consistent service quality.
  • Identify and mitigate operational and credit risks at the branch level.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders and communities to enhance brand presence.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in microfinance, banking, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) distribution.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing field teams.
  • Deep understanding of the local market dynamics in Sumatera Utara, specifically the Karo region.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to drive informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated area.
  • Experience in managing P&L and operational budgets is highly preferred.
