Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Head Baker and pastry chefs in the daily production of a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Prepare ingredients accurately, including measuring, sifting, and mixing, ensuring adherence to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently.
- Monitor product quality during the baking process, making minor adjustments as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation and kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving supplies, rotating stock, and informing the Head Baker of low stock levels.
- Package and label finished products for display and sale.
- Learn and master new baking techniques and recipes as guided by senior bakers.
Kualifikasi
- A genuine passion for baking and the culinary arts, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Prior experience in a kitchen or baking environment is a plus, but not strictly required for an enthusiastic beginner.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as needed.
