The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a strategic and visionary Assistant Director to lead its Corporate Communications division for a 1-year contract. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping the financial sector's perceptions and driving impactful communication initiatives that align with MAS's regulatory vision. You will act as a key strategist, leading high-stakes crisis management efforts, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and crafting compelling narratives for the public. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive corporate communication strategies and frameworks.
- Lead crisis management and issue response protocols to mitigate reputational risks.
- Manage media relations, including press releases, interviews, and media briefings.
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Advise senior leadership on communication matters and public policy messaging.
- Monitor and analyze the media landscape and public sentiment regarding financial regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders and influencers.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or government relations.
- Proven track record in crisis management and handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Experience working within the financial services or government sector is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
