Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Plantation Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring daily estate operations including planting, harvesting, weeding, and crop protection.
- Lead and manage field supervisors and labor forces, ensuring high productivity, discipline, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop and implement training programs to upskill field staff in modern agricultural techniques and machinery operations.
- Monitor crop health, yield quality, and soil conditions, implementing proactive measures to optimize harvest output.
- Ensure full compliance with national safety standards and sustainable agricultural certifications (e.g., MSPO/RSPO).
- Prepare regular progress reports, budget updates, and yield forecasts for senior management review.
- Oversee the maintenance and security of plantation infrastructure, machinery, and staff housing facilities.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science, Plantation Management, Forestry, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in plantation or estate management (experience with oil palm or rubber is highly advantageous).
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in labor management and conflict resolution.
- Excellent knowledge of modern agronomic practices, crop protection, and agricultural safety standards.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English to effectively coordinate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel) for report generation and budgeting.
- Willingness to reside at or near the plantation estate in Bukit Selambau, Kedah.
