Pantiasa is currently seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly-driven Assistant Security Manager / Security Manager to oversee and elevate our security operations in Bintulu, Sarawak. As a key leader within our security division, you will be responsible for safeguarding our assets, premises, personnel, and operations. This is a critical leadership role that requires a blend of tactical field knowledge, strategic planning, and exceptional crisis management skills.
In this role, you will lead a dedicated security team, establish robust security protocols, and work closely with local law enforcement and community stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial or commercial security management, physical security systems, and emergency response coordination. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and assets.
- Lead, train, and supervise the on-site security personnel and external security contractors to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Develop, implement, and update comprehensive security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and emergency response plans.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, security audits, and investigations into security breaches or safety incidents.
- Maintain and optimize security systems, including CCTV monitoring, access control, fire alarms, and patrolling equipment.
- Liaise effectively with local government authorities, emergency services, and community representatives on security matters.
- Prepare detailed security reports, budget forecasts, and incident documentation for senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Criminology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity (ideally within industrial, plantation, or commercial sectors).
- Strong knowledge of physical security systems, modern CCTV infrastructure, and access control technologies.
- Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possession of a valid security-related certification or background in military/police service is highly advantageous.
- Capable of working under pressure and responding to emergency call-outs during off-peak hours.
- Proficient in MS Office suite for reporting and administrative duties.
