Join The Salvation Army's Gracehaven Fostering program, appointed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in November 2017, as we make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. As an Assistant Senior Social Worker or Social Worker specializing in fostering, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and empowering foster families while ensuring the well-being and development of children in their care.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of foster families and children to match appropriate placements
- Provide ongoing support, counseling, and guidance to foster parents to ensure quality care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for children in foster care
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of children in foster placements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including healthcare professionals and educators
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies
- Organize and facilitate training workshops for foster parents on child development and trauma-informed care
- Advocate for the needs of children in foster care within the community and relevant systems
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in social work, preferably in child welfare or fostering
- Strong understanding of child development and trauma-informed care principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and professionals
- Certification in First Aid and Child Protection would be advantageous
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
- Knowledge of relevant Singaporean laws and policies regarding child welfare
- Valid driver's license may be required for home visits
