- Develop and refine regulatory policies to maintain a stable and robust insurance market in Singapore.
- Conduct off-site monitoring and on-site inspections of insurance firms to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Analyze industry trends and emerging risks to provide actionable insights for senior management.
- Lead and participate in supervisory engagements with key stakeholders and insurance industry leaders.
- Review and assess applications for licensing and other regulatory approvals from insurance entities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address cross-sectoral financial issues and policy developments.
- Contribute to international regulatory working groups to align Singapore's standards with global best practices.
Kualifikasi
- A good university degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related discipline.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in the insurance sector, preferably in regulatory, supervisory, or risk management functions.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, market dynamics, and international regulatory frameworks (e.g., IAIS standards).
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders and build professional relationships.
- Proven ability to lead projects and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A deep interest in public policy and the development of Singapore as a premier financial hub.
