Join the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) as we prepare to make history at the ASEAN Para Games 2029! We are seeking a strategic and innovative Assistant Director/Senior Assistant Director of Corporate Communications to lead our brand and communications strategy during this transformative period.
In this critical role, you will shape how SDSC communicates its mission, values, and impact to stakeholders across Singapore and beyond. You'll be at the forefront of building awareness, driving engagement, and elevating the profile of disability sports in our nation. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in corporate communications, brand management, and strategic planning. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive corporate communication strategies aligned with SDSC's mission and objectives
- Lead brand management initiatives to enhance SDSC's visibility and reputation in the disability sports sector
- Manage media relations, press releases, and public statements to shape positive narratives around disability sports
- Oversee content creation across multiple channels including website, social media, newsletters, and press materials
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication platforms
- Develop crisis communication protocols and manage communications during critical events
- Analyze communication metrics and provide regular reports to leadership on campaign effectiveness
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including media partners, sponsors, and government agencies
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in corporate communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication strategies for NGOs or sports organizations
- Strong media relations experience with established relationships with local and regional media outlets
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with ability to craft compelling narratives
- Experience managing digital communications including social media, content management systems, and analytics
- Knowledge of disability sports sector and commitment to diversity, inclusion, and accessibility
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously
