Tanggung Jawab
- Provide legal advice and counsel to city department heads and officials on various legal matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ordinances, resolutions, and other legal documents
- Represent the city government in litigation cases, administrative hearings, and legal proceedings
- Ensure compliance with Philippine laws, RA 7160 (Local Government Code), and regulatory requirements
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on complex legal issues
- Assist in the formulation and review of city policies, rules, and regulations
- Handle land acquisition, expropriation, and real property matters for the city
- Coordinate with the City Legal Office, Sanggunian, and external legal counsel as needed
Kualifikasi
- Must be a Filipino citizen with a valid Philippine Bar Examination rating
- Holder of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized law school
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal practice experience, preferably in government or public sector
- Excellent knowledge of Philippine laws, jurisprudence, and local government regulations
- Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills
- Proficiency in computer applications and legal research databases
- Good moral character and no pending administrative or criminal cases
- Willingness to work in Ilocos Region and comply with government appointment requirements
