As an Automotive Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of incoming and existing vehicle inventory. You will assess every aspect of the car, from the engine, transmission, and suspension to the interior and exterior condition, ensuring that each vehicle meets our rigorous quality standards. Your accurate documentation of findings will directly support our sales and purchasing teams in making informed decisions and ensuring transparency in every transaction.
Key responsibilities include performing road tests, using diagnostic equipment, compiling detailed inspection reports, and communicating clearly with team members. You will also help identify vehicles that require maintenance or repairs, and coordinate with service departments to ensure they are ready for sale. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct detailed inspections of used vehicles to evaluate mechanical condition, safety features, and cosmetic appearance.
- Document all inspection results accurately using digital tools and standardized forms.
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify potential issues with engine, transmission, brakes, electrical systems, and more.
- Communicate findings to sales and management teams to support pricing and purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate with service department to ensure necessary repairs are completed efficiently.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep up-to-date with automotive industry trends and inspection standards.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive repair or inspection is an advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automotive inspection, diagnosis, or repair.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Proficiency with diagnostic scanners and inspection software.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Bahasa Indonesia and English preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
