Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular befriending visits to assigned seniors in their homes or designated community locations
- Engage seniors in meaningful conversations and activities to combat loneliness and social isolation
- Assess the physical, emotional, and social needs of seniors and report any concerns to the care team
- Organize and facilitate group activities and outings for seniors to promote social interaction
- Maintain accurate records of visits, interactions, and seniors' well-being in the client management system
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and community resources to provide comprehensive support
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in elderly care, communication, and crisis management
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, or related field preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with elderly populations or in community services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with seniors
- Strong empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse elderly populations
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits (if required)
- Basic knowledge of elderly care principles and age-related health conditions
