We are looking for a strategic and execution-oriented BNPL Solution Product Manager to join our growing team in Singapore. In this critical role, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and full lifecycle delivery for our Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solutions. You will be responsible for driving user adoption, merchant integration, and optimizing the financial performance of the product to meet aggressive business goals.
You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, data science, risk management, compliance, marketing, and business development. Your mission is to launch innovative features, expand into new global markets, and ensure our BNPL offering remains competitive, compliant, and best-in-class. The ideal candidate possesses deep domain expertise in global payments, particularly the BNPL and consumer lending sector, and has a proven track record of launching and scaling successful digital financial products.

- Define and drive the long-term product strategy, vision, and roadmap for ByteDance's global BNPL solution.
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation, requirements definition, and design, to launch and iteration.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to build scalable, high-performance payment features that delight users and merchants.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and user feedback to identify new opportunities and optimize existing product features.
- Work closely with risk and finance teams to develop responsible lending frameworks, optimize underwriting models, and drive healthy unit economics.
- Partner with business development and operations teams to onboard strategic merchants and manage key partner relationships globally.
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user adoption, transaction volumes, default rates, and revenue.
- Ensure all product initiatives comply with global regulatory requirements and internal policies related to payments and lending.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of Product Management experience in the payments, fintech, or financial services industry, with at least 2 years focused on lending or BNPL products.
- Deep understanding of the global payments ecosystem, including transaction flows, acquiring, issuing, and risk management.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, data-driven products from conception to launch with measurable business impact.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools; ability to leverage data to drive product decisions.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English; fluency in an additional Asian language is a significant advantage.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, global environment.
