Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences? Backspin is seeking a results-driven Business Development and Event Manager to lead the commercial growth of our premium 240 sqm event venue. In this role, you will be the bridge between our world-class facility and the corporate and community sectors in Jakarta.
You will be responsible for defining and executing a robust sales strategy to maximize venue occupancy. From identifying potential corporate clients to negotiating high-value sponsorship deals and managing event logistics, you will play a pivotal role in positioning Backspin as the leading hub for events in South Jakarta. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue and maximize event space utilization.
- Actively scout and acquire new corporate, community, and private event partnerships.
- Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities to enhance event profitability and venue visibility.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and site tours to contract negotiation and closing.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution and high satisfaction levels.
- Maintain a high-performing pipeline of prospects and provide regular reporting on sales targets.
- Foster long-term relationships with stakeholders to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or event management, preferably in the hospitality or venue industry.
- Strong network within Jakarta’s corporate or event planning community is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian, both written and spoken.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- A proactive "hunter" mindset with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
