- Conduct thorough pre-purchase inspections on used vehicles, assessing mechanical condition, exterior, and interior state.
- Identify, document, and report any defects, damages, or mechanical issues requiring immediate attention.
- Verify vehicle history reports and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations.
- Operate diagnostic tools and perform test drives to evaluate engine performance, brakes, suspension, and steering.
- Collaborate closely with sales and management teams to provide accurate vehicle valuations and sales recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection workspace, including proper handling of tools and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and quality assurance standards during all inspection procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a vehicle inspector, mechanic, or in a similar automotive quality control role.
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot even the smallest irregularities or wear.
- Strong communication skills to report findings clearly and professionally to the team and potential buyers.
- Physically fit to perform manual inspections and capable of lifting heavy objects when necessary.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
