Econsave, one of Malaysia's leading retail chains, is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Cashier to join our vibrant team at the Forest Heights branch in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. As a Cashier, you will be the primary point of contact for our shoppers, playing an essential role in ensuring a seamless, efficient, and friendly checkout experience.
In this full-time position, your main objective is to process customer transactions accurately while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. We are looking for individuals who are highly organized, trustworthy, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced retail environment. You will handle daily cash operations, assist with customer inquiries, and help maintain a clean and welcoming storefront.

Tanggung Jawab
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout the checkout process.
- Accurately scan items, process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, e-wallets), and issue receipts.
- Manage and balance the cash register drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding product locations, pricing, and store promotions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
- Assist customers with bagging their purchases safely and efficiently.
- Inform customers about ongoing loyalty programs and special in-store promotions.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily store operations.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent educational qualification.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is an advantage, but fresh school leavers are highly encouraged to apply.
- Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
