You will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, managing high-heat equipment, and ensuring that every dish meets our strict safety and taste standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Execute daily food preparation tasks in the hot kitchen according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Operate various commercial kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, stoves, and ovens safely and efficiently.
- Maintain consistent quality, flavor profiles, and presentation of all food items before they are dispatched.
- Ensure all cooking stations are kept clean, sanitized, and organized throughout the shift.
- Monitor ingredient freshness and assist with inventory management and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations (HACCP standards).
- Collaborate with the back-of-house team to ensure timely order fulfillment during peak hours.
- Assist in recipe testing and special preparation tasks as requested by the Kitchen Manager.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen, central kitchen, or high-volume restaurant.
- Deep understanding of food safety, sanitation protocols, and workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy kitchen supplies.
- Flexible availability to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic knowledge of various cooking techniques (grilling, frying, steaming).
- Culinary school graduates or certification in Food & Beverage production is a plus.
