China Railway 11 Bureau Group Corporation is seeking a skilled Chinese Chef to join our dynamic team in Batam, Kepulauan Riau. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Chinese meals for our staff and guests, ensuring the highest standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Key responsibilities include developing weekly menus that reflect traditional Chinese flavors, managing kitchen inventory, controlling food costs, and training junior kitchen staff. You will also ensure compliance with Indonesian food safety regulations, maintain kitchen equipment, and collaborate with the management team to organize special events and celebrations.
We offer a competitive salary ranging from Rp 5,000,000 to Rp 6,000,000 per month, along with free accommodation and meals. This is a fullātime position with opportunities for professional growth in a multinational work environment.

Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes for staff and guests, ensuring consistent quality and flavor.
- Design and update menus, develop recipes, and introduce new dishes that reflect traditional and modern Chinese cuisine.
- Manage kitchen inventory, place orders for ingredients, and monitor food cost control.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen assistants and support staff.
- Maintain kitchen equipment, perform routine checks, and arrange repairs when needed.
- Collaborate with management to plan special meals, events, and banquet services.
- Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and ready for inspections at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Chinese chef or in a similar culinary role (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Inādepth knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, regional cuisines, and flavor profiles.
- Ability to work in a fastāpaced environment, managing multiple orders efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a multicultural team.
- Understanding of Indonesian food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots and ingredients.
- Relevant culinary certification or diploma is an advantage.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for culinary excellence.
