Are you a passionate advocate for sustainable development and community engagement? Vena Energy is looking for a dedicated Community Relations Officer to join our team on Talim Island, Rizal. In this role, you will serve as the primary bridge between Vena Energy and our host communities, indigenous peoples (IP) tribes, local government units (LGUs), and key project stakeholders.
As we continue to drive renewable energy initiatives, we need a professional who can foster trust, manage sensitive social issues, and ensure that our operations align with the needs and aspirations of the local population. You will play a pivotal role in implementing social investment programs that create long-term value for the community and our organization.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute strategies to build strong, sustainable relationships with host barangays and local stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for community leaders, indigenous peoples, and local government officials.
- Facilitate regular dialogues and town hall meetings to address community concerns and provide project updates.
- Coordinate and implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and social development programs on Talim Island.
- Manage grievance mechanisms and ensure timely resolution of community-related issues.
- Monitor and report on local socio-political developments that may impact project operations.
- Provide support for permitting and land-use activities through active community engagement and coordination.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Social Work, Sociology, Public Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in community relations, public affairs, or social development, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of the legal frameworks regarding Indigenous Peoples (IP) rights and local government protocols in the Philippines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a project-based environment and adapt to rural or island working conditions.
- Proficiency in local dialects spoken in Rizal is highly advantageous.
- Strong cultural sensitivity and commitment to ethical engagement practices.
