Tanggung Jawab
- Inspect, repair, and fabricate composite structures, including fuselage, wings, and tail sections, according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform cutting, trimming, sanding, and finishing of composite materials using precision tools and techniques.
- Apply composite repair kits (fiberglass, carbon fiber, and honeycomb) utilizing vacuum bagging and resin infusion methods.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure repair integrity.
- Interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals to execute repairs accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment compliant with EASA, FAA, or local aviation authority standards.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule repairs and communicate technical findings effectively.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or NVQ Level 3/4 in Composite Fabrication, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in composite repair techniques within the aviation or aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of aviation safety regulations, quality control procedures, and industry updates.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, engineering drawings, and 3D models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make autonomous, high-stakes technical decisions.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity required for handling heavy materials and tools.
- Valid driver’s license (if required for site access).
