PT Curry Boga Indonesia is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cook Leader to join our team in Surabaya. As a Cook Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our kitchen operations run smoothly, maintaining high standards of food quality, and leading by example to mentor our back-of-house staff.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who is dedicated to culinary excellence, efficiency, and safety. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in kitchen management, we want to hear from you. You will be responsible for overseeing daily production cycles, ensuring strict adherence to our standard operating procedures (SOPs), and fostering a positive team culture that drives customer satisfaction.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations to ensure optimal productivity and food quality.
  • Supervise back-of-house staff, providing guidance and training to maintain high performance.
  • Ensure all food preparation strictly adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
  • Manage inventory levels, ingredients, and kitchen supplies to minimize waste and ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the management team to implement menu updates and special culinary initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor food presentation and quality control for every dish served to customers.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of professional cooking techniques and kitchen management systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse culinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during peak service hours.
  • Possess a relevant culinary degree or vocational certification is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Resident of Surabaya or willing to relocate to the area.
