In this pivotal role, you will support the Cyber Security Operations Center (CyberSOC) in identifying, analyzing, communicating, defending, and containing information security threats.
As a CyberSOC Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a high-stakes environment where you will monitor security events, analyze system logs, and assist in the response to potential security incidents. You will work closely with senior analysts to understand threat intelligence and help maintain the integrity of our global infrastructure. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events in real-time Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
- Investigate potential security breaches, vulnerabilities, and anomalous system activities.
- Assist in the containment, mitigation, and eradication of security incidents according to established protocols.
- Conduct daily checks on security devices, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Document security incidents and create detailed reports for management and stakeholders.
- Support vulnerability assessment and penetration testing activities under senior supervision.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and improve overall security posture.
Kualifikasi
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer networks, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and protocols.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and malware analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail when troubleshooting security issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+) are a plus but not required.
