The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is the central bank and integrated financial regulator of Singapore. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Corporate Finance team on a contract basis as Deputy/Assistant Director.
In this versatile role, you will be responsible for overseeing securities, takeovers, and disclosure matters, ensuring that market participants comply with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, external advisors, and legal teams in a fast-paced environment that demands precision and integrity.

You will also contribute to policy development and participate in industry consultations. Your insights will directly impact the effectiveness of Singapore's regulatory framework.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage securities, takeovers, and disclosure matters in compliance with the Securities and Futures Act and Takeover Code.
- Provide strategic advice on corporate finance transactions and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Review and assess takeover applications, disclosure documents, and prospectuses.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external legal advisors, and industry participants to facilitate smooth processing.
- Conduct research and analysis on market developments and regulatory issues to inform policy decisions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefs for senior management and board committees.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of corporate finance policies and guidelines.
- Participate in industry consultations and represent MAS at external engagements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in corporate finance, securities regulation, investment banking, or a related area.
- Strong knowledge of the Securities and Futures Act, Takeover Code, and listing rules.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
- Experience in a regulatory agency, government body, or financial industry is an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.
