We are seeking an exceptional leader to serve as a Deputy/Assistant Director in the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Sustainability Office. This is a critical role where you will take the helm of sustainability initiatives, driving efforts to catalyse Asia's low-carbon transition and build Singapore into a world-class green finance hub. You will be responsible for shaping the regulatory landscape, fostering innovation in sustainable finance, and ensuring that MAS remains at the forefront of global sustainability trends. Your expertise will directly influence the nation's economic resilience and environmental stewardship, working alongside top industry professionals to deliver tangible outcomes for Singapore's Green Plan 2030.

- Lead and manage high-impact sustainability projects, ensuring alignment with Singapore's national Green Plan 2030 and international climate commitments.
- Develop and implement forward-looking regulatory frameworks and policies to promote green finance, sustainable investment, and carbon market development.
- Catalyse the transition to a low-carbon economy by identifying strategic initiatives, driving their execution, and evaluating their economic impact.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, corporates, and international bodies, to promote best practices in ESG reporting and transparency.
- Oversee the MAS's sustainability reporting and data management systems to ensure compliance with global standards and accuracy.
- Analyse market trends and emerging risks in the green finance sector to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Represent MAS in high-level forums and working groups to advocate for Singapore's position as a premier green finance centre.
Kualifikasi
- A recognised degree in Finance, Economics, Environmental Studies, or a related field, with a postgraduate qualification (e.g., Master's) preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in sustainability, green finance, or policy development, preferably within a central bank, financial regulator, or leading financial institution.
- Strong understanding of global ESG standards, climate risk management, and the Singapore Green Finance Centre ecosystem.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, negotiation, and presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable policy recommendations.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing teams, cross-functional projects, and driving organizational change.
