Yayasan MENDAKI, a premier self-help organization dedicated to empowering the Malay/Muslim community in Singapore, is seeking an exceptional Director, Advancement and Partnerships. This pivotal 2-year contract role offers you the chance to lead our fundraising and partnership development strategy, ensuring we continue to uplift the community through education, social services, and economic development.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Management, you will develop and execute a comprehensive national advancement strategy. You will cultivate relationships with corporate partners, philanthropists, and government agencies to secure vital resources for our programmes. This role requires a strong blend of strategic insight, business development expertise, and heartfelt commitment to our mission.
What You Will Do
You will lead a dedicated team, oversee the full spectrum of fundraising activities including major gifts, annual giving, events, and digital campaigns. You will drive stakeholder engagement, manage a portfolio of key partners, and ensure the highest standards of donor stewardship. Your efforts will directly enable MENDAKI to expand its reach and deepen its impact across the community.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with at least 12 years of experience in fundraising, partnership marketing, or business development, with a successful track record in a senior leadership role. You possess exceptional communication skills, deep connections within the corporate and philanthropic sectors, and a genuine passion for serving the community. Experience in the non-profit or social service sector, particularly within the Malay/Muslim context, is highly advantageous.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute a comprehensive national advancement strategy aligned with MENDAKI's strategic goals.
- Cultivate, solicit, and steward major gifts, corporate partnerships, and sponsorships to achieve and exceed fundraising targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Advancement and Partnerships team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing partners, including corporations, foundations, philanthropists, and government agencies.
- Oversee the planning and execution of high-impact fundraising events and marketing campaigns.
- Develop compelling funding proposals, presentations, and impact reports to support donor engagement and brand visibility.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of partnership and fundraising activities.
- Represent MENDAKI at key external events and forums to enhance the organization's profile and network.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a closely related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in fundraising, partnership development, or corporate/business development.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated success in a senior management or directorial role, including team leadership and budget management.
- Strong network within the corporate, philanthropic, and non-profit sectors in Singapore.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, with outstanding presentation and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of the social service landscape, particularly the Malay/Muslim community in Singapore, is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving measurable results in a mission-driven environment.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, and high emotional intelligence.
