As an Electrical Cadet, you will play a vital role in the engineering department, gaining invaluable hands-on experience while working under the mentorship of senior electrical officers. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Chief Electrical Officer and Officers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems.
- Monitor and observe the operation of electrical power distribution, switchboards, and generator sets.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with safety standards and ISM Code.
- Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical circuits and machinery.
- Participate in emergency drills and safety exercises to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate technical logs and records of all maintenance activities.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all onboard engineering tasks.
Kualifikasi
- Must be an OWWA member or eligible for OWWA membership.
- Must possess a relevant diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
- Must pass the required medical fitness examination for seafarers.
- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
- Physically fit and willing to work on board a vessel for the contract duration.
- Must be willing to undergo seafarer training and obtain necessary endorsements.
