As an Engineering Technician, you will be entrusted with the safe and efficient operation, comprehensive maintenance, and expert troubleshooting of critical industrial ammonia refrigeration systems, advanced filtration units, and all associated mechanical, electrical, and control equipment. Your sharp diagnostic skills and proactive approach will directly contribute to minimizing downtime, optimizing system performance, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental compliance standards for our valued clients in the cold storage, food processing, and manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and calibrate industrial ammonia refrigeration and filtration systems.
- Execute rigorous preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose complex system faults and perform emergency and corrective repairs.
- Maintain accurate technical logs, service records, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure full compliance with DENR, OSH, and ammonia safety protocols.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and upgrade of new equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and major overhauls on industrial ammonia refrigeration and filtration systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system failures (mechanical, electrical, and controls) and implement effective corrective actions.
- Monitor system performance data (pressures, temperatures, flows) and calibrate controls to optimize energy efficiency and capacity.
- Conduct regular safety audits on equipment, ensuring compliance with OSHA and DENR standards, particularly regarding safe ammonia handling practices.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate the procurement of critical components to prevent operational delays.
- Prepare accurate technical reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new refrigeration and filtering equipment at client sites.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide on-call technical support as needed to ensure continuous operations.
Kualifikasi
- Graduate of a Vocational/Technical course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of solid, hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industrial refrigeration cycles, controls, and safety protocols (ammonia handling).
- Must be physically fit and able to work in an industrial environment (climbing, lifting, confined space entry).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
- Willing to work in Taguig City and amenable to shifting schedules or extended hours when necessary.
- Preferably with certifications in refrigerant handling, RETA, or relevant safety courses.
