About the Role
Recruit Express is partnering with a well-established bank in Singapore to hire an Entry Level Corporate Actions Analyst for a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals with some administrative experience looking to break into the banking and finance industry. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the accurate processing of corporate actions events, ensuring all instructions are carried out efficiently and within regulatory timelines.
What You'll Do
As a Corporate Actions Analyst, you will handle both mandatory and voluntary events, including cash dividends, stock dividends, mergers, acquisitions, and other reorganizations. You will liaise with internal stakeholders such as fund accountants, portfolio managers, and settlement teams, as well as external custodians and agents. Strong attention to detail is essential to reconcile event details, validate elections, and process payments or shares accurately. You will also support daily reconciliation tasks, investigate discrepancies, and maintain records of all activities.

Tanggung Jawab
- Process mandatory and voluntary corporate action events including dividends, bonus shares, mergers, and stock splits for various financial instruments.
- Monitor announcements from market sources (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) and ensure timely capture of event details.
- Reconcile event instructions and entitlements against counterparties and internal records.
- Support the settlement process by ensuring accurate and timely booking of transactions.
- Respond to queries from internal teams and external clients regarding corporate action events.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and procedures related to corporate actions processing.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and system enhancements as required.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of corporate actions or financial markets is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
