As an Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery. You will perform routine preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, and execute repairs to minimize downtime. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining high production standards and operational efficiency. The role involves collaborating with the engineering team to improve equipment reliability and may include participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment according to established schedules and checklists.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults in machinery.
- Execute repairs and replacements of defective components to restore equipment functionality.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment upgrades.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and documentation of repairs and parts usage.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to reduce unplanned downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements to existing processes.
Kualifikasi
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, PLCs, and automation.
- Experience with preventative maintenance software and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts if required and respond to emergency call-outs.
