Are you a skilled technician looking for a dynamic role in building maintenance? We are seeking a detail-oriented Facility Shift Technician to join our team in Batu Maung, Penang. In this role, you will be the backbone of our facility's operational integrity, ensuring that all HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems function at peak performance.
As a Facility Shift Technician, you will be responsible for both proactive maintenance and reactive troubleshooting. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a shift-based environment and is committed to maintaining high safety and efficiency standards. You will work closely with the facilities team to minimize downtime and provide seamless building support services.
Tanggung Jawab
- Execute routine preventative maintenance (PM) schedules for HVAC and electrical distribution systems.
- Monitor and operate building management systems to ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
- Perform rapid troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) equipment during shift hours.
- Document all maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and system logs accurately in the facility database.
- Respond promptly to building emergency calls and execute corrective actions in compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate major repairs or facility improvements.
- Ensure all workspace areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and hazard-free condition.
Kualifikasi
- Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facility Engineering (or equivalent technical trade certification).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in industrial or commercial building maintenance.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and general building repairs.
- Proven ability to work effectively in shift rotations (including nights/weekends if applicable).
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on safe work practices (OSH standards).
- Good command of written and spoken Malay and/or English.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
