PERSOL Indonesia, a leading recruitment agency, is currently assisting our prestigious client in South Jakarta to find a highly skilled and motivated Finance AP & AR Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to step into a key supervisory role within a dynamic organization. The position is strictly Work from Office (WFO) based in South Jakarta, allowing for effective team collaboration and hands-on management.
The Role:
As the Finance AP & AR Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of the company. You will take full ownership of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring seamless financial transactions, accurate reporting, and robust internal controls. Leading a dedicated team, you will drive process improvements and contribute directly to the company's cash flow and financial health. Your expertise in managing the full cycle of AP/AR will be crucial in maintaining vendor relationships and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete AP and AR cycles, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the AP & AR team to ensure high efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyze aging reports, cash flow statements, and AP/AR metrics to identify trends and optimize working capital.
- Develop, implement, and enforce internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Procurement, Sales, Operations) to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment disputes effectively.
- Prepare comprehensive financial analysis and reports for senior management and external auditors.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and leverage ERP system capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in AP, AR, and general accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or senior role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), financial reporting, and Indonesian tax regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards is highly preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced WFO environment.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a strong plus.
