Yee Lee Corporation Bhd, a leading Malaysian manufacturer and distributor, is seeking a highly competent Finance Manager to lead the finance function at our strategic hub in Senai, Johor. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned finance professional ready to take ownership of financial operations, mentor a team, and drive strategic value.
Reporting directly to the Senior Management, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management. This includes ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, managing robust internal controls, and optimizing cash flow. A core focus of this role is the management of vendor trade claims and inter-branch transactions, requiring a detail-oriented individual who can enhance processes and safeguard company assets. You will act as a key business partner to the marketing, sales, and supply chain teams, providing the financial insights necessary to drive profitability and efficiency.

- Oversee the complete month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports in compliance with MFRS/IFRS.
- Manage, reconcile, and optimize vendor trade claims and inter-branch accounts to ensure data integrity and robust financial controls.
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, providing detailed variance analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across branches, marketing, and operations to provide financial insights, drive cost optimization, and support business growth initiatives.
- Manage cash flow planning, working capital, and treasury functions to ensure optimal liquidity and financial stability.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a work environment of high performance and continuous professional development.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with statutory requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS, Malaysian tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in managing vendor claims, inter-company transactions, and financial audits.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Business One or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team management, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
