- Design innovative furniture concepts that balance aesthetics, functionality, and market trends
- Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and production-ready specifications
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective
- Research and integrate sustainable materials and ergonomic principles into designs
- Develop prototypes and conduct user testing to refine product functionality
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback iteratively
- Stay updated on industry innovations, furniture technologies, and design methodologies
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or related field
- 3+ years of professional furniture design experience with portfolio showcasing diverse projects
- Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino
- Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and furniture construction
- Excellent visual communication skills with ability to create compelling presentations
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and ergonomics
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines and budget constraints
