We are seeking a visionary General Manager Forestry to lead our non-timber forest products division in Sulawesi Selatan. This strategic role requires a dynamic leader passionate about driving ESG initiatives and sustainable forestry practices. You will oversee operational excellence while developing innovative strategies that balance ecological preservation with economic growth. The ideal candidate will transform raw resources into premium forest products while ensuring strict environmental compliance and community engagement.
As GM, you'll spearhead cross-functional teams across harvesting, processing, and distribution chains. Your expertise in sustainable forestry management will directly impact our carbon footprint reduction goals and biodiversity conservation efforts. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for non-timber forest products harvesting and processing
- Lead ESG initiatives ensuring 100% compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability standards
- Oversee operational budgeting, resource allocation, and performance optimization
- Build strategic partnerships with local communities, government agencies, and international buyers
- Drive innovation in sustainable harvesting techniques and product value chain development
- Lead cross-functional teams in achieving operational and sustainability KPIs
- Monitor market trends to identify new product opportunities and revenue streams
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or Natural Resource Management (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 10 years forestry management experience with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record in ESG implementation and sustainability reporting
- Expertise in non-timber forest products (NTFP) value chain development
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost optimization
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with community engagement experience
- Proficiency in forestry management software and data analytics tools
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
