Mitsubishi is seeking an experienced Head of Department (Branding & Marketing) to drive our brand strategy and market presence in Malaysia. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker who excels at building brand equity, leading cross-functional teams, and executing innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with a diverse audience.

As the Head of Department, you will be the custodian of our brand identity, ensuring consistency while pushing the boundaries of creativity and data-driven engagement. You will partner with regional stakeholders to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and translate business objectives into effective communication strategies that strengthen Mitsubishi's market positioning in the competitive Shah Alam region and beyond.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with Mitsubishi’s global vision and local market objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels to maximize brand visibility and ROI.
  • Conduct deep-dive market analysis and competitor research to identify emerging trends and consumer insights.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives.
  • Manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal allocation of resources.
  • Evaluate campaign performance through detailed reporting and KPIs, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Drive customer engagement initiatives to strengthen loyalty and increase brand sentiment.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; MBA is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in branding and marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Proven track record in developing brand strategies for large-scale, reputable organizations.
  • Strong proficiency in market research methodologies, digital marketing tools, and performance analytics.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse internal teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Malay.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive or industrial manufacturing landscape in Malaysia is a significant advantage.
  • High level of integrity, professional maturity, and a results-oriented mindset.
