Tanggung Jawab
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the Special Education department.
- Oversee the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of all students.
- Mentor, coach, and evaluate teaching staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, inclusive instruction.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and administrative workflows to optimize operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, psychologists, and social workers.
- Engage with parents, caregivers, and external stakeholders to foster a supportive and communicative educational community.
- Ensure full compliance with national educational standards and inclusive policy frameworks.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of teaching experience in a SPED setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of current SPED methodologies, curriculum design, and assessment tools.
- Strong understanding of inclusive education policy and best practices in Singapore.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and manage professional development programs.
- Proven track record of improving student outcomes and fostering a positive school culture.
